I’ve had GoDaddy.com for a while, and it ain’t bad. But now my subscription is up, and I’d like to explore my options. I can get 2 years of hosting for like $133 which is fine – but GoDaddy kinda locks me out of the shell, which is bogus cause then I can’t install anything cool. Anybody got any ideas?

One Response to Kickass hosting?

I always enjoyed Modwest great admin that lets you know if there are security issues with files on your site like Gallery, phpbb etc.
My friend Kevin at PolarLava uses A2 Hosting it looks very good as well with alot of the latest tools like Ruby on Rails and Postgres.. I would start there.
